This assignment was to make a diptych (art piece w/ two parts) using cardboard paper to fill in contour drawings. I truly hated this assignment. I found it inordinately difficult to cut the paper pieces precise, and never really liked the contour drawings I was using. The only aspect I find redeeming about this piece, is the connectivity b/tw the two halves.

The image has now been corrected in the gallery. I'm sorry you had so much trouble cutting the paper. The X-acto knives can get quite dull quickly. If this was the problem, I have plenty of replacement blades. Hopefully doing this preliminary assignment will prove to help as you make decisions on the project.
